Mr. Keating asked the Minister for the Environment if applications for grants for conversion to solid fuel burners are being refused where a dual system which could burn either solid fuel or oil is being installed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Burke): The provision of a dual system burner using solid fuel and oil does not debar an applicant from obtaining a special heating grant provided the other requirements of the grant scheme are met. Mr. Keating asked the Minister for the Environment when a grant for the conversion to a solid fuel heating system will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
