Financial Resolutions, 1980: - Motion for Late Sitting.

Minister for Finance (Mr. O'Kennedy) Michael O'Kennedy

Minister for Finance (Mr. O'Kennedy): I move: “That the House sit later than 9 p.m. but not later than 12 o'clock midnight.”

The purpose of this late sitting is to enable the Financial Resolutions to be taken and no other business will be taken during the extended hours.
