30. Mr. B. Desmond, Mr. Horgan and Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Energy the nature of the relationship between the Nuclear Energy Board and his Department, if he has had a meeting with the members of that board since taking office and if not, when he proposes to have such a meeting.

Mr. Colley: The relationships between my Department and the board are governed by the relevant provisions of the Nuclear Energy Act, 1971.

I have already arranged to meet the members of the Nuclear Energy Board early next month.
