104. Mr. Bruton and Mr. Donegan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the new second-level education school at Rathmullan, Drogheda, County Louth, the likely date of opening, if a gymnasium will be provided and the system of management proposed for the school.

Minister for Education (Mr. Wilson): The new school which is being constructed at Rathmullan for the [1226] Drogheda Vocational Education Committee is expected to be ready for occupation in September 1980. An application for the provision of a physical education hall at the school is under consideration. It will be a matter for the vocational education committee in due course to indicate the system of management which they propose for the new school.
