Mr. Horgan asked the Minister for the Environment in respect of each housing authority for the years 1950, 1960 and the latest year for which figures are available, the amount of [1293] money spent on play space and recreational facilities as a percentage of the amount spent on housing in the same year.

Expenditure by housing authorities on play space and recreational facilities which are provided in conjunction with new housing schemes is an integral part of the general contract or direct labour expenditure and separate details of it are not abstracted.
