Collins asked the Minister for Education if it is intended to allow students the right to be represented on boards of management of second level schools and if he will make a statement on the matter. Mr. Wilson Mr. Wilson 1255 Mr. Wilson: There is no proposal under examination in my Department at present for the inclusion of students in boards of management of second level [1255] schools. I do not consider that a statement from me in relation to the matter is necessary. Mr. E. Collins Mr. E. Collins Mr. E. Collins: Would the Minister favour the presence of second-level students on boards of management? Mr. Wilson Mr. Wilson Mr. Wilson: I never considered the matter. Mr. E. Collins Mr. E. Collins Mr. E. Collins: Will the Minister not consider the matter? Senior students who have the right to vote for Members of this House should surely have the right to be members of boards of management of their own institutions? Mr. Wilson Mr. Wilson Mr. Wilson: Yesterday another Deputy made the point about voting rights in connection with another question. As I said, I have not considered the matter. Mr. E. Collins Mr. E.
