314. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for Agriculture the proposals, if any, regarding the drainage at Cashlagh, Mastergeehy and Kilcummin, County Kerry, under the recently announced EEC scheme.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Gibbons): An approval which issued under the farm modernisation scheme for a drainage scheme in the area referred to may now be returned to the local office of the Farm Development Service for reassessment under the new western drainage scheme.

An application for another drainage scheme in this area is being examined.
