Written Answers. - Breathing Masks for Cyclists.

187. Mr. M. Cosgrave asked the Minister for the Environment if, in view of the heavy bus and vehicular traffic, particularly during warm weather in Dublin city centre, he will investigate the suggestion that cyclists, who must contend with the consequent lead-laden and sulphur pollution, should wear breathing masks.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Barrett): The answer is “No”.
