Mr. B. Desmond: I wish to give notice of my intention to raise this afternoon, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, the sanctioning of the increases in the price of bread and butter by the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy.

Mr. M. O'Leary: On the Order of Business, I wish to ask the Taoiseach whether the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy will be giving an explanation to the House for the latest savage increases in the prices of bread and butter on the anniversary of this Government coming to power.

Mr. Wilson: The Deputy should think of the farmers in the Lagan Valley.

Mr. Wilson: Nothing, except that they are getting good prices.
