Mr. Horgan asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in relation to the Rathsallagh Estate, Shankill, County Dublin; (a) the number of houses in the estate; (b) the number of private telephones in the estate; (c) the number of applications from residents of the estate for telephones on file in his Department; the date of the first such application, including any application for a transfer of service; and the date of the median application.

Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Faulkner): (a) It is understood that 280 houses have been built in the estate at present and that more are being built; (b) nil; (c) 30, the first of which dates from July 1975; the date of the median application is May 1976.
