137. Mr. Crinion asked the Minister for Social Welfare when a decision will be reached on the application of a person (details supplied) in County Meath who applied for a pension last August.

Minister for Social Welfare (Mr. Corish): The claim in this case has been referred to the local pension committee for decision. Pension at the maximum rate has been recommended by the social welfare officer and a pension book and arrears have been issued to the claimant provisionally pending the committee's decision.
