Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry School.

23. Mr. O'Connor asked the Minister for Finance if money has been provided for the new central school in Valentia, County Kerry; and, if so, the reason for the delay in its erection.

Mr. Begley: A contract has been placed for the erection of this school and it is expected that work on the site will commence shortly.

Minister for Local Government (Mr. Tully): My apologies to the Chair and to the House for being delayed but I was not aware that the earlier questions had been disposed of so quickly. I was engaged in an interview with Deputy Gene Fitzgerald for whom, incidentally, I had some good news.
