112. Mr. Crinion asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given for the extension of Athboy national school, County Meath; and when it is likely that work will commence.

Minister for Education (Mr. Richard Burke): A grant has been sanctioned towards the cost of the conversion and enlargement of Athboy national school and a revised sketch scheme and working drawings have been prepared. When the necessary documentary evidence of title to the site extension has been received, tenders will be invited. It is not possible to say at this stage when work can be commenced.
