19. Mr. Lemass asked the Minister for Labour if the Government have adopted EEC Directive 75/409 which amended Directive 67/548 regarding the approximation of laws, regulations and administrative revisions concerning the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances.

Mr. M. O'Leary: I will make the necessary regulations within the coming months to give effect to the EEC Directive 67/548 and relevant amending directives including Directive 75/409 relating to the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances. This country has until June, 1976, to comply with this directive.
