Dr. Gibbons asked the Minister for Local Government when he will sanction the proposal from Roscommon County Council to replace the existing main along the Strokes-town-Tulsk road in order to facilitate development of a group scheme in that area. Mr. Tully Mr. Tully Mr. Tully: I am not as yet in a position to say when I will give my decision to the local authority regarding this proposal. Dr. Gibbons Dr. Gibbons Dr. Gibbons: Has the Minister got any recent communication from the local authority on this? Mr. Tully Mr. Tully Mr. Tully: The proposal was received in the Department on the 27th August, 1975, to replace 900 linear yards of 2” piping by 4” PVC. Normally this work would be carried out by the local authority under the small schemes grant. Possibly Roscommon County Council may do this next year but I have not received anything alarming from them except they have continually been asking when they will get money for it.
