70. Mr. Finn asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission will allocate the Crean holding at Moyne, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon, which has been in its possession for eight years.

Mr. T.J. Fitzpatrick (Cavan): The formulation of resale proposals for the 25 acre holding referred to has been deferred pending the completion of proceedings for the acquisition of another property in the locality containing some 23 acres. The intention would be to divide both holdings together so that a more effective improvement of small farms in the district can be achieved.
