Mr. Gibbons asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the number of meat factories that are working short time over recent weeks; and the reason for this position. Clinton Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries (Mr. Clinton): I understand that due to a shortage of pigs one factory went on short time last week and a second is expected to do so this week. Mr. MacSharry Mr. MacSharry Mr. MacSharry: Is it the Minister's opinion that many more factories will take the same action in the near future?
