[1941] 21. Dr. Gibbons asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he has sanctioned proposals for erection of an area supply depot store at Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim; and when work is likely to start.

Dr. Cruise-O'Brien: Plans for the erection of an area engineering headquarters, including a store depot, at Carrick-on-Shannon have been approved. The Commissioners of Public Works advise that if a satisfactory tender is received work on the project will probably commence in three or four months' time.

Dr. Cruise-O'Brien: The Commissioners of Public Works advise that it is hoped to invite tenders for the building work within the next four weeks.
