27. Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education if it has been decided to establish a co-educational secondary school on a site at Coláiste Einde, Salthill, Galway, to be controlled by the Jesus and Mary Sisters, Coláiste Einde authorities and the parents.

28. Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education if it is intended to maintain Coláiste Einde, Salthill, Galway, as a grade A school.

Mr. R. Burke: With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 27 and 28 together.

Discussions are still proceeding with the school authorities concerned and local interested parties in relation to this matter. Accordingly, I am not yet in a position to make a statement in regard to it.
