Mr. Meaney asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a person in Millstreet, County Cork (details supplied) who applied for a new house grant in October 1973 has received no communication from his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Local Government (Mr. Tully) James Tully Minister for Local Government (Mr. Tully): There is no record in my Department of an application for a new house grant from the person named, but there is one from a person with the same surname and address, whose Christian name is different. This person was allocated a grant of £400 on 24th December, 1972. My Department have not been notified that the latter house has been completed, but an inspection will now be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order.
