2. Mr. C. Murphy asked the Minister for Transport and Power when the people in the Loughdan district of Roundwood, County Wicklow will be offered a supply of electricity to their houses.

Minister for Transport and Power (Mr. P. Barry): I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the Loughdan area is included in the board's Roundwood rural area where development work under the final phase of the rural electrification scheme is at present in progress. Supply has already been extended to some of the applicants in the Loughdan area and the remainder will get supply in the near future.
