Dáil Éireann - Volume 269 - 20 November, 1973 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clare Driving Test Centre. Mr. Daly Mr. Daly 17. Mr. Daly asked the Minister for Local Government if he will establish a driving test centre at Ennistymon, County Clare. Mr. Tully Mr. Tully Mr. Tully: Tests are conducted in Ennistymon for motor cyclists and drivers of agricultural tractors. I do not propose however to establish a driving test centre in Ennistymon for all classes of vehicles. To ensure a reasonable equality of standard, driving tests in cars and lorries in general must be carried out in the larger towns which contain a suitable road network and varied traffic conditions.
