16. Mr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Health the percentage of the present annual cost of the health services which payments for drugs represent.

[17] Mr. Corish: Based on estimates of the cost of health services for 1973-74, expenditure on drugs represents 7.32 per cent of the overall expenditure on the services.
