9. Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Health the total number of ambulances in each of the health board areas; and whether he considers this number adequate.

South Eastern Health Board	25
Mid-Western ,, ,,	20
Western ,, ,,	19
North Eastern ,, ,,	16
North Western ,, ,,	12
Midland ,, ,,	12

These numbers are considered adequate.
