Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Transport and Power if Aer Lingus have any arrangement with any Government Department or agency regarding the provision of security to prevent aircraft hi-jacking. Lenihan: The answer is yes but for security reasons I must decline to give details. 980 [980] I can however say for the Deputy's information that a composite Bill to give effect to the Tokyo Convention on offences and certain other acts committed on board aircraft and the Hague Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft is at an advanced stage of drafting and will be introduced after the summer recess.
