88. Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Local Government the expected increase in revenue resulting from the decision by Dublin Corporation to increase pre-1966 houses by 4p per room.

Mr. Cunningham: This information is not available to my Department.

89. Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Local Government the average maintenance cost in each of the past five years in pre-1966 Dublin Corporation houses.

Mr. Cunningham: The average maintenance cost of dwellings let by Dublin Corporation increased from £18 in 1966-67 to £20 in 1967-68; £21 in [1757] 1968-69; £25 in 1969-70 and £31 in 1970-71, the latest year for which I have information.

90. Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Local Government the total number of pre-1966 Dublin Corporation houses in Dublin city.

Mr. Cunningham: Statistics of the number of pre-1966 dwellings at present let by Dublin Corporation are not available in my Department.

Dr. O'Donovan: Why? Surely it is a simple matter.
