42. Mr. M. O'Leary asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs whether he had any intimation of the French decision to hold a referendum on the enlargement of the EEC.

Mr. B. Lenihan: There was no intimation given of the decision of the French Government to hold the forthcoming referendum which, of course, is concerned with French internal law and constitutional procedures.
