Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for Local Government if he is now in a position to sanction the compulsory purchase order made by the Dublin County Council in respect of the lands at Shanganagh, Shankill, County Dublin for housing purposes. Mr. Desmond Mr. Desmond 33. Mr. Desmond asked the Minister for Local Government when he expects to sanction the CPO of Dublin County Council concerning the land at Shanganagh, Shankill, County Dublin; and the number of local authority houses proposed for this site. Mr. Molloy Mr. Molloy 420 [420] Mr. Molloy: With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 32 and 33 together. This order is at present under consideration in my Department and I expect to convey my decision thereon shortly. At the public inquiry into the order it was stated on behalf of the county council that the total number of dwellings proposed by them for the lands was around 600, including sites for private dwellings.
