Dáil Éireann - Volume 253 - 29 April, 1971 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - TV Reception. Mr. G. Lynch Mr. G. Lynch Mr. Begley Mr. Begley 75. Mr. Begley and Mr. G. Lynch asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider providing a booster station in the South Kerry/West Cork area as television reception in that area generally, and particularly in Glengarriff, is exceptionally poor. Mr. G. Collins Mr. G. Collins Mr. G. Collins: The improvement of reception is primarily a matter for Radio Telefís Éireann. I understand that television reception in the area indicated by the Deputies is not satisfactory, but that the erection of additional transposers, which are planned for the area, is expected to improve reception. I am advisd that the authority regard it as unlikely, because of shortage of capital, that they will be provided before 1973-74. Question No. 76 postponed. Dáil Éireann 253 Ceisteanna—Questions.
