257. Mr. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if and when the original priority list of catchments under the Arterial Drainage Act of 1945 has been revised.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Colley): As has already been stated here, the priority lists for major and minor catchment areas were drawn up in 1946. Although some minor adjustments were made these did not affect the net result and there has been no revision of those lists which have been accepted by successive Governments. I do not think that any revision is called for now. The lists remain as published in the Official Report in February, 1963, in Vol. 199, No. 9, columns 1251-1252.
