12. Mr. Meaney asked the Minister for Local Government why managerial order No. 85/1969 served under the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Acts 1878-1964 was not complied with (details supplied): and if he will now direct Cork County Council to take such steps as are necessary to ensure that the order is put into force.

Mr. Colley: This is a matter entirely for the sanitary authority who have informed me that, as legal proceedings that will have a bearing on this case have been initiated, it would be improper for them to become further involved at this stage.
