Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rural Electrification.

5. Mr. Begley asked the Minister for Transport and Power when an ESB supply will be extended to Kilgarvan, County Kerry.

Mr. Childers: I am informed by the ESB that construction work under the Rural Electrification Planned Post-Development Scheme is scheduled to commence in the Kilgarvan rural area early in 1972.

6. Mrs. Hogan O'Higgins asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he is in a position to state when the following places will get electricity supply: (a) Funchin, (b) Trellick, (c) Moy, (d) Gortnalough and (e) Cappamore, in the parish of Kinvara, County Galway.

Mr. Childers: I am informed by the ESB that the townlands in question are in the board's Kinvara rural area where a re-canvass under the Rural Electrification Planned Post-Development Scheme is expected to be carried out in 1973. Supply will then be extended to all householders who accept the terms quoted and who have their houses wired.
