Mr. Tunney asked the Minister for Local Government whether it is proposed to introduce any schemes of grants for firms or householders changing to smokeless fuel. Mr. Molloy Mr. Molloy Mr. Molloy: There is no such proposal under consideration. Mr. Tunney Mr. Tunney Mr. Tunney: Having regard to the attitude towards pollution, does the Minister not think that it might be advisable to have such a scheme introduced? Mr. Molloy Mr. Molloy Mr. Molloy: The matter is one which will be considered by an interdepartmental committee which will be concerned with these matters. I should point out to the Deputy that at present in Great Britain there is a shortage of smokeless fuel and there might be difficulty in acquiring a sufficient supply if we introduced such a regulation here.
