Mr. Desmond asked the Minister for Finance when he intends to implement the proposals for the expenditure of £186,000 approximately on Rosaveel harbour, since there is considerable anxiety among the Aran island fishermen who feel that a fishery harbour in Galway will be substituted for these proposals.

Mr. Lemass: A boring survey has been carried out at Rosaveel and when the results are available the scheme will be designed and the work put in hands.

There is no question of substituting Galway fishery harbour for Rosaveel.
