47. Mr. Desmond asked the Minister for Labour the number of factory accidents notified in the year 1968-69; and the number of fatal accidents included.

Minister for Labour (Mr. J. Brennan): In the year ended 30th September, 1969, the number of accidents reported under the Factories Act was 2,838 and of these 19 were fatal.
