36. Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Finance the present annual rate of salary paid to each member of the Board of the Irish sugar company.

Mr. Haughey: All the members of the Board of Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta serve on a part-time basis; the Chairman receives a fee of £900 per annum and the other members £500 per annum.
