38. Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Local Government if he will make arrangements immediately to place at the disposal of the Killarney fire brigade a new type of mechanical fire ladder to enable them to provide an improved service.

Mr. Boland: The acquisition of suitable fire brigade equipment to meet the needs likely to arise in any particular area is a matter entirely for the sanitary authority concerned.
