Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Daingean (Offaly) Houses.

12. Mr. O.J. Flanagan asked the Minister for Local Government the reason for the delay in regard to the erection of houses in Daingean, County Offaly where the housing position has become very serious; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Mr. Boland: No proposals for a housing scheme in Daingean have been submitted to my Department. I understand from the council that a site for about eight houses has been acquired and that they hope to submit proposals to my Department shortly.
