Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Enforcement of Licensing Law.

11. Dr. O'Connell asked the Minister for Justice if he considers that the law prohibiting persons of less than 18 years from being in licensed premises is at present being enforced successfully; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Justice (Mr. Moran): I have no evidence that there is any widespread, deliberate disregard of the [1444] prohibition. If the Deputy has any evidence of breaches of the law in this respect I would ask him to forward it to me or direct to the Garda Síochána so that it may be investigated.
