36. Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the present position regarding sanction for the purchase of a site at Rathmore, County Kerry for the erection of eight council cottages, proposals regarding which are at present with his Department.

Mr. Boland Mr. Boland

Mr. Boland: A housing site at Rathmore is included in a compulsory purchase order which Kerry County Council submitted to me for confirmation. The latest date fixed by the council for making objections to the order was 2nd January, 1968. I expect that a decision on this order will be taken shortly.
