Ceisteanna—Questions (Resumed). - County Sligo Drainage Scheme.

23. Mr. Gilhawley asked the Minister for Local Government if he will make money available immediately for the drainage of a stream starting in the townland of Carrowcollar and running through the townlands of Glann, Ballyglass and Leaffony to the Leaffony river in the Dromore West [703] area of County Sligo, as an application for a rural improvement scheme in respect of this work was made to the Special Employments Schemes Office and an inspection was carried out about two years ago.

Mr. Boland: A rural improvement scheme grant was offered for this work on 13th March, 1967, but was not accepted. It is now late for inclusion in this year's programme of schemes.
