Ceisteanna—Questions (Resumed). - Wexford Flooding.

22. Mr. Corish asked the Minister for Local Government if there are as yet any proposals formulated for the alleviation of periodic flooding at King Street, Wexford.

Mr. Boland: As I indicated in my reply to the Deputy's question of the 2nd March last, Wexford Corporation have asked their Consultant for a report as to the measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence of flooding in the King Street area. I am informed by the Corporation that they expect to have this report shortly.

Mr. Corish: Is there an indication as to when approximately we might have it?

Mr. Boland: I hope to have it within the next week.
