Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal Delivery of Shamrock.

5. Mr. Corish asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that shamrock posted in Wexford town on 11th and 13th March last for delivery to Liverpool, London and other places in Great Britain, was not in fact delivered for some days after Saint Patrick's Day; and if he will make inquiries in this matter.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Lalor): There was no delay in the despatch of the packets referred to and there have been no complaints of delay in delivery. If the Deputy will let me have details, I shall have inquiries made.
