46. Mr. P. Hogan (South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Finance when drainage of the Camogue river at Emly, County Tipperary, is likely to commence.

Mr. J. Gibbons: The Camogue River is in the Maigue catchment for which a drainage scheme is being designed. Actual drainage operations are not likely to begin before 1968.

Mr. T.J. Fitzpatrick (Cavan): Drainage is going on every place except on the rivers.
