35. Mr. P. Hogan (South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the estimated annual cost of the 12 per cent wage increase to employees in semi-State bodies under the aegis of his Department in receipt of £2,000 or more per year at the time of the award.

Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. J. Brennan): Radio Telefís Éireann is the only semi-State body for which I have a responsibility. I understand that the annual cost to the authority was £8,500 approximately.
