Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is satisfied with the manner in which pavements were reinstated by the contractor responsible for the removal of pillar letter boxes from busy streets in Dublin; whether any complaints were received by his Department from the Dublin Corporation; if so, the dates of such complaints; and whether steps will be taken to render such pavements safe and presentable. Brennan: As I indicated in reply to a previous question, the contractor who erected the boxes is responsible for making good the footpaths to the requirements of Dublin Corporation.
