Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Legal Aid in Civil Cases.

70. Mr. Corish asked the Minister [1014] for Justice if he has under consideration any scheme for the provision of legal aid in civil cases for persons who are unable to afford the expenses of litigation; and, if so, when such a scheme is likely to be introduced.

Minister for Justice (Mr. B. Lenihan): The answer to the first part of the question is “No”. The second part does not, therefore, arise.
