8. Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Finance whether he has any comment to make on the decision of a brewing firm to absorb the twopence Budget increase on the pint.

Mr. J. Lynch: I welcome the statement by the brewing firm in question as being in accord with the Government desire that increases in costs should be met in the first instance from increased productivity or from profits.
