Murphy asked the Minister for Finance if, in view of his Budget statement that a sum of £100,000 had been allocated to the work of the County Development Teams and in view of the fact that a considerable amount of this sum must necessarily be expended on salaries and expenses arising from the work of the Teams, he will state what funds [1820] are to be made available for the carrying out of any recommendations made by these Teams. Mr. J. Lynch Mr. J. Lynch Mr. J. Lynch: The sum of £100,000 which, as I mentioned in my Budget statement, will be provided for special schemes for small western farms, is intended to assist in financing worthwhile specific projects. It will not be used to meet salaries and expenses of County Development Team members or their staff. These will be paid for out of the provision of £30,000 for grants to County Development Teams in the Estimate for my Office for 1966-67. Dáil Éireann 221 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers.
