O'Donnell asked the Minister for Local Government the number of families occupying unfit dwellings in Limerick city on 1st January, 1966. Mr. T. O'Donnell Mr. T. O'Donnell 14. Mr. T. O'Donnell asked the Minister for Local Government the total number of new houses built by Limerick Corporation in the period 1st April, 1965 to 31st December, 1965. Mr. T. O'Donnell Mr. T. O'Donnell 15. Mr. T. O'Donnell asked the Minister for Local Government the number of applicants for new houses in Limerick city on 1st January, 1966. Mr. Blaney Mr. Blaney Mr. Blaney: With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take questions Nos. 13, 14 and 15 together. On 1st January, 1966, 1,184 families were in occupation of dwellings which had been declared unfit, or which were considered by the housing authority to be below the standard required for human habitation. Information is not available as to the precise number of families included in this figure who were in occupation of dwellings which have been declared statutorily unfit. 151 houses were built by the corporation in the period 1st April, 1965 to 31st December, 1965.
